MedicalMatch is a Healthcare Workforce Operating System with an embedded marketplace. This page describes what implementation involves, how long it takes, and what your team provides.

Timeline

Most systems are live within 2 to 6 weeks. The range depends on complexity and the number of facilities in scope. Single-facility implementations sit at the shorter end. Multi-facility rollouts extend based on how much configuration differs between sites.

We use a phased rollout. Facilities begin operating on the platform before the full deployment is complete, so value starts before the rollout ends.

The four phases

1. Configuration. We build your InternalPool and encode your facility requirements. This is where your specific rules live: who can work which units, what qualifications each role requires, how shifts are released and to whom.

2. Credentialing and compliance alignment. Your credentialing workflows are mapped into CredentialHub, the centralized verification engine across facilities. Clinicians are compliance-verified and credentialed to your standard, not to a generic marketplace standard. For multi-facility organizations, this is where verification gets centralized rather than repeated site by site.

3. Training. Administrators and staff are trained on the workflows they will actually use. Scheduling and nursing leadership follow different paths than clinicians.

4. Marketplace activation. External fill capability is turned on once internal mobilization is running, and activation takes 3 to 5 business days. Internal staff are offered shifts first. The marketplace covers what remains.

What your team provides

Implementation is collaborative. Your organization supplies the facility requirements, credentialing standards, and onboarding criteria that get configured into the platform. We build your onboarding process on the platform rather than imposing ours, so clinicians working your facilities are onboarded to your standard.

What this is not

This is not a job board and it is not an external labor vendor arrangement. Your internal workforce is mobilized first. The platform is designed to complement your existing HR and recruitment function rather than replace it.

Detailed implementation guide

A complete rollout guide is available for organizations in active evaluation, covering per-phase task lists, IT and data requirements, credentialing field mappings, roles and responsibilities on both sides, and a sample multi-facility project plan.
